Today
So tired of having our tax dollars
being mis-spent on bailing out big corps who have made bad decisions
Banks Failed because of their Greed & being scammed by Madoff
Car Companies failed because they are making shoddy cars & not
keeping up with the times & needs of American Buyers & having
prices that people can't afford when they are taking Pay Cuts due to
all of our Factory & Call Center Jobs being Out Sourced to
Non-American Employees in 3rd World Countries
Now the News Papers Want Our Tax Dollars because they can't Sell their
Papers? They haven't kept up with the times we are in & offering
enews alerts with links to the news on their websites or twitter
updates etc & most importantly they have failed to provide news in
a timely manner that offers All Sides to the important news of the day
so their readership is dropping because there just isn't any interest
in their news papers so our tax dollars should now go towards paying
for their lack of leadership & poor management decisions?
Call your congress people & tell them enough is enough - pass
extensions on the unemployment benefits for the American citizens so
they can keep their homes & apartments & afford to buy food
& heat & let the news papers start becoming relevant so that
people might want to buy them instead of wasting money on those select
few big business people
Those people who are running the papers, well maybe it's time for them
to divest & split & stop being irrelevant reporting in a skewed
manner & reporting more on what's going on with the working people
who chose or chose not to buy their papers - if the tiny local Free
Papers can afford to keep going then there is no reason that those
giant news paper corporations can't learn from their example &
downsize where they need & start reporting in a manner that will
make the working people Want to Buy Their Paper Again like we used to
in times past back in the day when news papers actually did some Real
Reporting of News

Dear Reader,
This past week the battle over the future of news came to a head. Len
Downie, a vice president and the former editor of The Washington Post,
called for government funding for journalism. Downie added his voice to
a chorus of liberals, politicians and journalists who want government
very involved in the news.
While Downie claims it isnt a bailout, thats exactly what hes
calling for. Dan Gainor of the Business & Media Institute, our
sister department, called it in a report released a week before
Downies effort. Gainors analysis of The Great Newspaper Bailout is
a sobering look at how involved government is trying to get in the
daily news.
Here are just a few scary facts;
This year both houses of
Congress, the FCC and the Federal Trade Commission have all held
hearings on the future of journalism. Bills to aid newspapers have been
proposed in both the House and Senate.
Liberal groups are pushing for $60 billion for a bridge to the
future of journalism the ultimate bridge to nowhere.
The media are also planning for the future. A media foundation report
just urged government to mandate nationwide broadband Internet access.
They forgot to mention it could cost up to $350 billion.
The Great Newspaper Bailout is
the kind of essential news about business and the economy that the
Business & Media Institute delivers on a regular basis.
Each week, BMIs newsletter, the Balance Sheet, reports on the biggest
business or economic trends that impact you. Then they show just how
the media are spinning those trends. This ranges from economic
reporting that made a good economy look bad when George Bush was
president, to journalists trying to find the silver lining in nearly 10
percent unemployment under Barack Obama. BMI helps you understand what
the news media isnt telling you about Americas economic health and
liberals attacks on free enterprise.
I strongly urge you to sign up for the Balance Sheet,
their free weekly newsletter.
Thanks for your time, and for subscribing to the CNSNews.com E-Brief,

10/10/2009 This I think is worth writing a quick blurb about The video does make you take a minute to question just what do you believe in regards to Once Saved Always Saved?
Quote Once Saved Always Saved?
This is a small video that was posted up on YouTube It shows in a cartoon just what the Great Deception of the Greasy Grace Lie does Not certain if this will properly "Embed" as we've not yet figured out how to get that one but we'll give it a try & the link in case it does not Stay Away from the MeatBall Grinders at PizzaRama Windsor CT unless you enjoy a grinder that is Mostly 8 Inches of Bread 1 small MeatBall Cut in 1/2 on each of the two 4 inch halves & No SAUCE???!!! Never in almost 50 years have i ever heard of having to Special Request having Sauce on the Grinder Tried to call & complain but there is no answering machine & no one picking up So I had to send a fax to the Berlin Shop The menu is quite deceptive in that it gives the impression that the Deluxe is 16 Inches long & includes french fries but for the MeatBall Grinders a Deluxe is only 8 inches long & has only 1 meat ball Cut in Half per half the amount of french fries were skimpy at best equaling a little over the small size at McDonalds? The grinders at the 16 inch length which the menu gives the impression include the french fries Do Not Include French Fries so my Hubby's order although 16 inch in length had no fries
In addition to having No Sauce on the MeatBall Grinder The 2 Small MeatBalls Cut in Half are GRAY in Color Not Brown as a Fully Cooked MeatBall Should Be I'm quite disgusted at "the meal" which was delivered & consider PizzaRama's grinder meals to be a waste of my Hubby's Hard Earned Money suggest that if someone's looking for value & good food delivered... Call Domino's Pizza or Pizza Hut instead or hit the McD's drive thru

This is something that is quite worry-some for those of us who are
professing Christ;
who but God knew that this nation would sink so low & so quickly
There are upcoming elections locally & the change which got swept
in due to the masses not thinking about what was being uncovered; it's
now time to stop this tidal wave of insanity so be certain to vote in
the local elections & this time do so asking critical questions
thinking about what it is that you're actually voting for & against
when you cast that vote

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
I will not stand by and watch your freedom as an American handed over
to courts in other countries. I refuse to remain silent while the
sovereignty of the United States and Israel is forfeited to
international courts.
But it's well on its way to actually
happening.
Help the ACLJ mount its most intensive
legal effort ever to preserve your freedom! Please give a generous
online donation immediately.
The United Nations (U.N.) and the international community are
scrambling to erase the boundaries between countries - to turn the
people of free nations like the U.S. and Israel over to the whims of
radicals around the world.
The latest example is an outrageous attack by the Palestinian
Authority - not even an actual nation - calling for Israeli
soldiers (some who hold dual U.S. citizenship) to be convicted of ''war
crimes'' simply for fulfilling their duty, defending their countrymen
against attacks by the Hamas terrorists!
And now we're hearing reports that the Obama Administration will have
the U.S. join the International Criminal Court (ICC)!
The ACLJ is right in the center of this fight -
through our new office in New York City, just blocks from the U.N., and
an internationally assembled team of lawyers.
We will fight back at every turn.
As you help us with your generosity
today, we will answer every threat. We need you standing with
us!
Thank you!

Citizen Corps News: Upcoming Events of Interest for Citizen
Corps Councils & Partners
wanted to share some useful
information from FEMA & Citizen Corps
-------- Original Message --------
Citizen Corps News: Upcoming Events of Interest for Citizen
Corps Councils & Partners
Citizen Corps supports weekly and monthly outreach themes which
encourage and promote civic engagement, public safety, preparedness,
resilience, and volunteerism.
The outreach themes are intended to be used as an opportunity to jump
start work with additional Citizen Corps Affiliates and Partners on
promoting awareness, planning events, and media outreach to strengthen
community preparedness at the state and local level.
Local Citizen Corps Councils and partners may contact local
representatives from the organizations below to learn how the community
can benefit from involvement, reach out to citizens about
participation, and involve the local media in distributing information
on these events.
These events will help raise awareness for local Citizen Corps
activities and ultimately increase community preparedness, training,
and volunteer participation.
The following are the upcoming events for October:
- Crime Prevention Month: More than twenty-five
million Americans are victims of crime each year. October is Crime
Prevention Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the practice of
crime prevention while promoting awareness of important issues such as
victimization, volunteerism, and creating safer, more caring
communities. The month-long recognition highlights successful crime
prevention efforts on the local, state, and national levels. Visit the “What You Can Do”
webpage of the National Crime Prevention Council
to find out how your community can support this month’s efforts to
combat crime. Also, participate in Celebrating Safe Communities to
kick-off Crime Prevention Month on October 1-3, 2009 (see below).
- Diversity Awareness Month: October is Diversity
Awareness Month. Consider meeting with area minority leaders – in
businesses, schools, churches, and local organizations – to discuss
their role in promoting community preparedness and Citizen Corps. You
can also organize public speaking opportunities or radio interviews for
leaders in your community to promote increased participation in
preparedness from across the diverse sectors of your community. Visit
the website for the National Resource Center on
Advancing Emergency Preparedness for Culturally Diverse Communities
for additional ideas, training materials, and resources.
- National Cybersecurity Awareness Month: This
October marks the fifth annual National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
The Department of Homeland Security's
National Cybersecurity Division (NCSD) is once again
actively engaging public and private sector partners through events and
initiatives to increase overall awareness and minimize vulnerabilities.
National Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a campaign designed to
educate all citizens and key public and private sector partners on
cyber threats and how to safeguard themselves at home, work and school.
Visit the DHS Cybersecurity Awareness Month
webpage to learn more about how you can help contribute to
your community’s cybersecurity awareness.
- Celebrate Safe Communities (October 1-3, 2009):
The National Sheriffs' Association
(NSA), the National Crime Prevention
Council (NCPC), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance
(BJA) are teaming up on Celebrate Safe Communities (CSC),
an exciting initiative designed to help local law enforcement agencies
and their community partners kick off events for Crime Prevention
Month! Visit the NCPC webpage to see CSC In Action and learn
how to get involved.
- 28th National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend
(October 2-4, 2009): This year, the National Fallen Firefighters
Foundation (NFFF) and the Department of Homeland Security's
U.S. Fire Administration will recognize the 28th annual
National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend on October 2-4, 2009.
Plaques with the names of more than 3,300 firefighters who lost their
lives in the line of duty will surround the memorial in Emmitsburg, MD,
which was established in 1981. Visit the National Fallen Firefighters
Memorial Weekend website for more information on this
important event to honor America’s heroes.
- Fire Prevention Week (October 4-10, 2009): Fire
Prevention Week 2009, sponsored by the National Fire Prevention
Association (NFPA), focuses on burn awareness and
prevention, as well as keeping homes safe from the leading causes of
home fires. Visit the NFPA's Fire Prevention Week
website to see more about what fire and life saving educators will be
doing to promote fire safety this week, and learn how fire prevention
focused outreach and education can be conducted in your community.
- America's Safe Schools Week (October 18-24, 2009):
Join your local school district and the National School Safety Center
in observing America’s Safe Schools Week. The goal for this campaign is
to motivate key education and law enforcement policymakers, as well as
students, parents and community residents, to vigorously advocate
school safety. Work with your local educators, policymakers and
community at large to support local school safety efforts. To find out
more visit the National School Safety Center.
- National School Bus Safety Week (October 19-23, 2009):
The National Association for Pupil
Transportation (NAPT) promotes National School Bus Safety
Week the third week in October. During this week, the NAPT hosts the
National School Bus Safety Poster Contest, which allows students to
artistically represent a safety theme and have a chance to win a prize.
This nationwide contest for students in grades K-8 is a great way to
get youth involved in preparedness and safety education in their own
education institutions. This year’s theme, "Avoid Harm, Obey the Stop
Arm", and the winning poster can be seen on the National School Bus Safety Week
website.
- National Red Ribbon Week (October 23-31, 2009):
The mission of the Red Ribbon Campaign is to present a unified and
visible commitment towards the creation of a DRUG-FREE AMERICA. The
National Red Ribbon Week, sponsored by the National Family Partnership
(NFP), is an ideal way for individuals and communities to
unite and take a visible stand against substance abuse. The NFP helps
citizens across the nation come together to keep children, families and
communities safe, healthy and drug-free, through parent training,
networking and sponsoring the Red Ribbon Campaign. Visit the NFP’s National Red Ribbon Week
website for more information and resources.
- Make a Difference Day (October 24, 2009): Each
year, the Points of Light
Institute/Hands on Network sponsors Make A Difference Day.
This year marks the 18th year for Make A Difference Day, which will be
celebrated on the fourth Saturday of October. Last year, more than
three million people served on the 2008 Make A Difference Day. The day
connects people with opportunities to serve, increases the strength of
communities and promotes civic engagement. Anyone can participate in
this national day to help others. Visit the Make a Difference DAYtaBANK
to find an opportunity in your community or engage your Citizen Corps
Council or partners in continuing their service to the community
through a project.
A complete list of weekly and monthly outreach themes for 2009
is available at www.citizencorps.gov/news/themes.shtm.
